How to Get a Library Card
Library cards are free to Western Springs residents and may be obtained by presenting 2 forms of identification with current Western Springs address at the front desk. Cost of a nonresident library card as of 2019 is $305/year.
You can also sign up for an online card using your name and Western Springs address. After successful registration you will receive your card number and instructions to set your PIN.

With a library card, you may check out unlimited books, DVDs, CDs, and magazines free of charge!

Fines for overdue items are 10¢ a day for each item. There is no grace period for fines.
