To respond proactively to mitigate the risk and impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) we are taking the following actions to do our part to help minimize the spread of the COVID-19.

We want you to feel confident visiting Thomas Ford. While we contract with a company that cleans the library at night, we’ve added regular cleanings of high-touch or shared surfaces throughout the building.

We’re providing hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes to our patrons as long as they continue to be available. Our staff is advised to follow a safety protocol of regular handwashing, as well as staying home if they feel unwell.

Right now, we don’t plan to limit the library’s hours of service; however, this is a rapidly developing situation, and it may require a different response. We will communicate any changes via our website, enews and our social media accounts.
