Human Library

The Human Library provides the opportunity for people to share and understand the experiences of others inside and outside their community. People who attend this event will have to chance to listen to the personal experiences of volunteer ‘books’.
Volunteer books are individuals from all walks of life who have experienced and are willing to share a story of an impact full moment in their life. These stories could be about a large number of topics, whether it be racial discrimination or quitting a job to start your own business. No matter the book the goal is always the same, to better connect people through understanding and acceptance.

This event is scheduled to happen on February 24th. If you are interested in becoming a book for Thomas Ford’s Human Library please fill out the form below. If you have any further questions feel free to contact the head of Teen and Tween services Heather Booth at: heather@fordlibrary.org
